CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

Friday, June 25

  • 9:00 am - Training Skills for Zonta—How to Design Results-Oriented Zonta Training, recommended for club and district leaders charged with responsibility for training other Zontians.  Attendees will receive a certificate upon completion.

  • 1:30 pm - “Ending Early Marriage-Part 2- A Strategy Session for North America,”  - Katherine Cleland, Zonta Club of Everett, District 8 Advocacy Chair, past International Public Relations and Communications Chairman, Ela Pandya, Zonta Club of Porterville, International Advocacy Committee member, and Donna Pollard, Zonta Club of Louisville and a survivor of child marriage who successfully advocated for improved legislation in her home state of Kentucky that put an end to child marriage through parental consent, will work with you to create a strategy and marketing campaign for your state or province to help end child marriage.

  • 4:00 pmOpen Forum on Resolution #2 Overall Review of Zonta International:  Sharon Langenbeck, Zonta International President

  • 4:00 pm-- Treasurers' Workshop with Bridget Masters, Zonta International Finance Committee Chairman and past International Treasurer Secretary for the last two biennia.

  • Friday evening - a dinner of ‘Cincinnati Favorites’ and roundtable discussions with experts from the Zonta International Committees on various Zonta topics. 

Saturday, June 26

  • Saturday will feature a general session, workshops, and lunch and dinner, both with speakers. 

Sunday, June 27

  • There will be more workshops on Sunday morning followed by ‘Grab and Go’ breakfast before the recap of all the information presented.
